Avenger and I have both have sources but the info we get is from completely different angles and rarely covers the same things.

It's not always up to the coach. Arthur has been very luke warm in comments about Hayne's return. Sometimes marquee players are signed more for their marketing appeal etc, than the coach's assesment of their playing value.

I'd say from BA's comments he is much more than 'luke warm' to the idea:

“I’ve got a good relationship with Jarryd. We’d love to have him back at the club. If he wants to play for Parramatta we’re going to try and do what we can."

BA is not stupid and is going to ask himself one question if Hayne does decide to come back to the NRL.
"Would I rather Jarryd Hayne be playing for me or against me?" The answer to this determines the next move IMHO.
