Well Hoffman and Luke were more than barely first graders when they arrived at the Warriors.

Yeah they were stars. Luke was always a defensive weakness, averaging less than a tackle every two minutes, but his attack was immense. He has declined year on year at the Warriors, but at his age he should still be at least near his peak. Hoffman was 30 when he left the Storm and that was three years ago. There's a big difference between 30 and 33. Most players that age are an annual prospect. I wouldn't expect him to be a walk up start for the Storm next year. He would play a similar role to Frank Pritchard.

I know I should't ever underestimate a Bennett coached side but.... did everyone miss us handing them their asses twice in the space of a month ?!?

Now they are also without Boyd.

Storm hype I can understand (but barely tolerate) but Broncos?

Not saying we are going to win it, but found Cory Parker's comments last week funny. Said the eels are no chance and are weak defensively, as demonstrated by the Broncos scoring 6 tries against us. Then says Bronco's are contenders!! Well didn't they let in 9 tries against us?

I find any of the ex Bronco commentators on Fox to be pretty bias!! Parker !!! Walters!!

It's a bit of a crapshoot outside of the Storm, but it almost seems like a Fox/NRL directive to talk the Broncos up at every opportunity. They are not that good - their draw and favourable refereeing guarantees them finals basically every year. That and Bronco Dollars/Thoroughbreds getting them a top quality roster.
