Kearney isn't the problem at the Warriors....but he's sure as shit not the solution either.

He is objectively a terrible coach. The Warriors have deep problems within the organisation, much like we did until recently.

True. And that is why that organisation needs an experienced and successful coach. Not an inexperienced and unsuccessful one.

The problem with NRL coaching is that there are probably only 30-40 people living on this planet that could successfully coach an NRL side. Of that - maybe 4 or 5 will turn out to be elite coaches.

Pretty tough to find a good one nowadays. Which is why when you land a coach like BA you do everything to keep them.

Correction - There are 30-40 people that for various reasons won't have their merkin chewed out within 5 min.

Lots of people could coach an NRL team successfully tbh. Far less would be able to navigate their way through the perceptions and preconceived ideas of nuffy NRL fans.

I reckon far fewer than 30-40 would survive a couple of seasons worth of fan expectations. Look at Hasler - misses the finals for the first time in 13 years and the fans are calling for his head. And what's more, fans from other clubs find it understandable! It boggles the f**king mind. This guy has won two premierships, and made the finals every year SINCE BEFORE BEAU SCOTT MADE HIS NRL DEBUT, and nuffies have decided he's past it. Unfkngblvbl

Yep, Bullpoop aside, I think we can both agree that most people should be melted at birth.

Rumor that Gagai was going to Souths for opportunity under Madge, less money too then Knights but possibly going to backflip to stay up North now.

She’s disappointed some clubs no longer have cheerleaders, including last week’s opponents South Sydney.

“The public want more than just the game,” Ms Johns said. “Everyone looks to the cheerleaders to get the crowd going.”

Hmmm.... I think big screens and chants played over loudspeakers at all grounds have well and truly put paid to the days of people looking to cheerleaders to "get the crowd going".

He'll be a direct replacement for Harris because they play the same side and he will be walking into a vacancy. He won't be the only 'barely first grade' standard player in their team. Don't assume the Storm are full of stars just because the team is strong. Half their blokes would look as ordinary as Hoffman if they played for other clubs. I'm not saying they're reserve graders, but they're not blokes anyone would brag about having in their team, much like Takairangi/Mannah/King/etc

Well Hoffman and Luke were more than barely first graders when they arrived at the Warriors.
