He knows all his tactics?
You need to ask why they keep failing. They haven't made the finals since 2011 despite all these stars. Blaming coaches is a cop out.
Hoffman and Luke are barely first graders these days. Tuivasa-Sheck is still a great attacking player but there's a reason the Chooks wouldn't match big money for him but are happy to shell out for Tedesco.
Yep, you have to get the timing right, which also means letting go an aging star a year too early rather than a year too late. No clubs do this as well as the Storm. It is almost impossible to be proactive with replacements as players are not generally content to wait a few years for their shot especially when they have bigger money waved under their noses from clubs with an immediate need for someone in their position
What improvements? Foran for less than 20 games? Luke and RTS brought a defensive weakness. Otherwise they have most of the same weak players as last year, with their 'best' all round players getting old.If the record is heading south despite improvements to the playing group, it may be a cop out to pass over the coach as a reason? Particularly when said coach has a strong record of failure?
Exactly, which is why shit clubs experience so much coach churn. They need somebody who will help them overachieve, but unless they find a Brad Arthur they won't get one. The established coaches avoid these clubs, so they're stuck with mediocre coaches like Kearney, Stuart and Cleary.Kearney isn't the problem at the Warriors....but he's sure as shit not the solution either.
Every club needs players who are barely first graders. We even have a few in our 17 this weekend. Why would the coach of the stand out best team in the comp publicly indicate that he wants Hoffman at his club next season if he was barely a first grader?
I reckon an 80 minute edge forward is worth as much as your less important spine players. Add tax for goalkicking, leadership and having to go to a non-competitive team, and $1M is unsurprising. I wouldn't call it overs. Cordner would be on close to $1M next year IMO.
Show me someone who says they don't fear Brad Arthur and I'll show you a god-damn liar.
The Spanish call him "el temido" and on the 20th of May every year they hold a festival but it is not one of celebration rather one of worship and they pray for 20 hours straight that the one known in Australia as "Brad Arthur" will never return.
Fun fact: Michael Jennings is known as la barba grande in Spanish

He is objectively a terrible coach. The Warriors have deep problems within the organisation, much like we did until recently.
$900k is pretty close to being "close to $1m".I bet you he isn't. He'd be on about 600k with some Uncle Nick guaranteed 3rd party payments to get his 900 odd.

Or do you think clubs can fit 35 genuine first graders under their salary caps?
He'll be a direct replacement for Harris because they play the same side and he will be walking into a vacancy. He won't be the only 'barely first grade' standard player in their team. Don't assume the Storm are full of stars just because the team is strong. Half their blokes would look as ordinary as Hoffman if they played for other clubs. I'm not saying they're reserve graders, but they're not blokes anyone would brag about having in their team, much like Takairangi/Mannah/King/etcThe impression Bellyache gave was that he intends for him to be a direct replacement for Harris... hardly barely a first grader....I'm sure he will star at the Storm for a season
I honestly did not know that.Show me someone who says they don't fear Brad Arthur and I'll show you a god-damn liar.

John Grant would. He is immune to anyone not liking him.imagine coaching a team with Hayne and Farah in it
you probably wouldn't last a day
