So Haynes "failure" at 6. Most of his games were at the back end of 2011, 8 of the 14 according to rugby league project.
Haynes stats for those 8 games
Try Assist - 5
Line break assist - 5
Kicks - 108
Tackles - 96
Missed Tackles - 28
Errors - 12
Runs - 81
Run Metres - 790
Offloads - 9
Tackles Breaks - 31
Line Breaks - 2
Tries - 2

Compare that to the best halfback going round in Thurston for some of the same games. Thurston was out for a few of the weeks Hayne played as 6 so i got a few earlier games stats to get the same sample size
Try Assist - 7
Line break assist - 7
Kicks - 61
Tackles - 105
Missed Tackles - 34
Errors - 14
Runs - 79
Run Metres - 558
Offloads - 7
Tackles Breaks - 29
Line Breaks - 4
Tries - 4

Any chance we could get 8 games from JT's 2010 season when the Cows came last?

Personally i think before he left us Haynes best position was definitely at fullback and moving him to 6 wasn't a great idea. I also however think that with a full offseason behind him, he could be a fantastic 6, probably similar to Michael Morgan

For the money he'd be on we will want a lot more than Michael Morgan level output from Hayne. In the Cowboys' setup he's almost like another centre. Makes about 30 touches a game for about ten runs. Gutherson could give us that at a quarter of the cost.

Do centres get 30 touches a game?

Hey obscene ass any time you'd like to organise to meet up to discuss things just let me know ok? Send me a message.
Why can't you discuss things here, in front of an audience? Do you like to threaten violence when you can't get your point across with logic? Because if that's the case then I'll COME AROUND YOUR JOINT AND KNOCK YOU THE f**k OUT MERKIN!!! Or we could just cuddle.

No, and most halves get plenty more than that, especially the expensive ones. That's why I said he's almost like another centre, similar to how he's almost like a half.

With Coote on the left and Thurston in the middle the Cowboys don't need any more from Morgan than what he offers on the right side.

You don't read to learn more and educate yourself? It shows.

You seem quite tough, trying to meet up with OA who happens to disagree with you on the interent. You're f**king embarrassing yourself even more than your RLW brag.

Well he hadn't responded. How about you? The invitation is there for you to meet up for a chat.
You want to sit behind your keyboard and abuse people and be a keyboard warrior? Show you have the balls to stand up. Or are you too scared?

I don't recall saying anything about output level.

If Hayne only makes ten runs a game his output won't be anywhere near enough to justify his cost. With a fullback that expensive you have to build your whole gameplan around creating opportunities for him to run the ball. And I don't mean digging in to the defensive line from first receiver when his runners are covered.
