I guess our IQ is higher then the general person on here so they can never understand success and so they make up excuses for failure and accept it.

Then el diko and hineyrulez will spill an old gus gould joke. Imagine they where in advertising.
Satire.

In Matts you can have your 16th birthday during th calendar yar

All the boys mentioned in the article are 16 now, turn 17 in 2018. Sam Hughes and David Hollis are both 6'3" front rowers, although Hughes can play lock. Hollis is from Wauchope, Edwards from Lismore, Field from Hills Distict. Edwards has moved up to the Gold Coast as his mother got a promotion and has persuaded the club that he should return with her. Will play at Keebra Park and continue to come down for camps etc, under contract for 2 more years
Just the height BA is after, both Sam and David playing NRL next year. Pencil that in as the scoop of the year!!!!

I think the new rules state a player must be 20 or over to play NRL.
If this is true it sux.
In 2015 there was talk about the ARLC introducing a rule that players must be over 19 to debut and it resulted in THIS article which has some interesting names in it.

In the last 2 years alone some pretty decent players have debuted under 20 years of age:
- Cleary
- Hess
- Watson
- MItchell
- Ponga

Yes yes I know it’s Buzz Rothfield but he was saying that a Parra player needs a change in attitude and preparation or they won’t be welcomed back next year.

If anyone I would think it’s maybe Vave.

Again, not saying it’s true.

Havent found anything about changing the age players can debut, but I doubt they will change it to 20 years.

Would be very strange rule to implement.

Maybe it's Hayne? Seems to fit the description mostly.

I can't find it either, but I have a feeling that it's true (I might have heard it during a TV broadcast). The threshold might be 19 though (i.e. players who turn 19 at any time during the year). Presently you have to turn 18 some time during the calendar year.
