I have heard his pay is well north of $500k and imo worth less than LPSA.
Who is your source ? Surely not some idiot from nospam46!!

Maybe Timmy asked for a million.BA refused to meet Haynes asking price apparently, he refused to meet Peats asking price apparently!! He refused to meet Vaughans asking price apparently!! He apparently refused to meet Dargan asking price!! Etc etc etc
BA appears to have a certain value for players which he sticks too.
So I have no idea why he would suddenly pay Mannah elite money like some have mentioned.
Give it a rest will ya....
It's all part of the rich fabric of this wonderful forum.I can only guess that Sookeel finds it therapeutic to deal with every possible down-side of the club's decisions. And (I say this in absolute good faith) if it helps him....well fair enough. The rest of us, of course, can just tell him to 'get f**ked' (in good humour).

Power wanking?I broke my wrist once.
Healed in 6 weeks.
His looked way worse though, so I'm guessing a much longer recovery than that.
Power wanking?
(Sorry Peatsy, beat ya to it)
what would you have done if you broke that one too?Had to use my other hand during that time.
Trouble is once he is paid more than the LPSA his pay affects the cap, and we have a cap not a sombrero like a few other clubs. And apparently no TPAs either. I have heard his pay is well north of $500k and imo worth less than LPSA.
Never let the left hand know what the right hand is doing.Had to use my other hand during that time.
Was a nice change...like somebody else was doing it.
I have heard it is north of $600k. I can't say it is true it is just what I have heard. Anyway, if true, I was truly shocked as I thought his pay would be less than $300k. And on Hayne he was worth every penny he was paid by Parra, now he is not. But that could change next year, he may have lost a bit of speed but is still a very skilful player. That's a very good question. Where is the demand that would've pushed Mannah's price so high? He's probably getting paid more than he's worth as a player (for off field activities and leadership) but no f**king way is he on more than $500k.
It's an inconsistent narrative some merkins want to push. We have a very competitive team (proving the salary cap is well managed) yet we're so poorly managed that we've paid significant overs to one particular player? One who is a known quantity at that. It's as dumb as the idea that we paid overs for everybody EXCEPT Jarryd f**king Hayne back in the wooden spoon years.
Eels coach Brad Arthur said he would be watching every game.
“I won’t be watching with an eye to buy, but you just never know what could unfold, so we’ve got room in our cap should an opportunity pop up for us,’’ Arthur said.
