I'd say he's worth between $250k and $350k. He might be on more but I doubt it's even close to $600k. Why would the club agree to pay him that much when we're recently famous for rejecting players that ask for overs? The fact we do so little external recruitment of established first graders is evidence in favour of us being very picky about value for money. I think it's a great sign.I have heard it is north of $600k. I can't say it is true it is just what I have heard. Anyway, if true, I was truly shocked as I thought his pay would be less than $300k.
Wouldn't that depend on how much he was paid? And on Hayne he was worth every penny he was paid by Parra
Some on here don't think you should have an opinion unless its their own and try to belittle you because of it. Then when you call them out they deny the sometimes childish comments were directed at you. All I can say if you start calling people names than you must have the mentality of a child because that is their only retort, they haven't the mental capacity to form a credible alternative argument.
If Pou hasn't called you a name at some point, then really you are non-existant .... who doesn't love Pou setting them straight?
You're not even a poster's arsehole around here until Pou has replied to one of your posts with 'FFS'
I'll never forget the time he gave me my very own cravat all the way from China. If Pou has never called you a Merkin you haven’t lived.
I'd say he's worth between $250k and $350k
It's all part of the rich fabric of this wonderful forum.
I broke my wrist once.
Healed in 6 weeks.
His looked way worse though, so I'm guessing a much longer recovery than that.

And on Hayne he was worth every penny he was paid by Parra, now he is not. But that could change next year, he may have lost a bit of speed but is still a very skilful player.

Like I said Pou it is what I heard from someone with contacts within club, I don't know if true. This thread is called Rumours & Stuff isn't it?I'd say he's worth between $250k and $350k. Alex Walmsley has become one of the most in-demand players in the game according to Fox Sports.
Newcastle Knights, Wests Tigers, Parramatta Eels and St George Illawarra are all chasing the services of the English giant, who was Super League’s top metre-maker in 2017.
Walmsley was set to make his competitive England debut in today’s game against Australia but contracted a virus earlier in the week and has failed to recover.
The 27-year-old has one year remaining on his contract at St Helens and has admitted he would be attracted by the prospect of playing in the NRL.
“I’m at a stage of my career where the next decision I make is where I want to go with my career,” he said.
“As a player, I want to play with the best and do the best I can. Whether that’s in Super League or elsewhere, that’s yet to be decided.
“I want to play international football and I want to win competitions. I’m halfway through my career now and hopefully I can win a few more things.”

Doesn't sound like their contacts are particularly informed.Like I said Pou it is what I heard from someone with contacts within club, I don't know if true. This thread is called Rumours & Stuff isn't it?
He's pretty good mate. According to Fox Sports, he has become one of the most in demand players in the game.Don’t know anything about him, how good is he?

Hopoate's form at the Dogs is worth $600k. This year he averaged nearly 180 metres per game, plus 11 LBAs and 10 TAs. Also less than one error per game.I remember when Mannah re signed. It stretched out for a while.Amd he come back and took our offer.
My guess is he put himself on the market and realised wasnt going to get a great offe
In saying that we had 2yrs of hoppa and offered him 600k odd didnt we?r
