I'm also hearing Dresler unfortunately has an injury requiring surgery again.

Also depending on injuries & players playing SG Ball & Nyc Both squads are looking very strong with a lot of depth.

Harold Matthews cup will be I think one of the strongest squads ever assembled. A massive call I know but iv watched them play in the 15s development & there are some amazing kids in that squad.

Again the depth the club has from 16s - 20s is amazing

Unless the NRL gf is played with kids 16-20 we'll struggle this year unless the squad is strengthened. Unfortunately our best attacking weapon, Semi, is missing. Finally we have 2 good halves but not the firepower up front to fully exploit them and lack real quality on the wings to execute.

Btw did we get Tony Williams or not, haven't heard anything from the club? Not sure whether I like him or not. If his mental or physical problems are not fixed we'll have she rex who is next to hopeless. He couldn't even make the Sharks side this year. If signed sounds like desperation from BA. All the players that will have to be released because clubs have exceeded the cap haven't eventuated. Even Dogs who supposedly well over the cap signed Leichaa. Also Penruff signed Maloney for more money after also being over, although probably paid nothing for Moylan to leave.

Gee can't wait for Fiji v NZ game on Saturday. I reckon Fiji might beat them, Hayne is playing a good 5/8th game and they're big, strong and fast all over the park. If we had their pack how good would we be?

Btw how big are Junior Paulo and Papalii? Both look about 10kg overweight. No wonder Raiders didn't make the finals, you just can't play to your potential being so overweight. Junior has shown some patches of brilliance tho, late offloads that have lead to tries, but think how much better he'd be if fitter.

What @Gronk said.... He'd be on peanuts, relatively speaking.... I doubt he has been signed as a walk up Top 17 start.... There are no guarantees in life.... If we were certain we had signed T-Rex (as opposed to the She-Rex version) then he would have cost a lot more than we have paid for him and we wouldn't have gone down that road in the first place....

If you believe that we're going into next year with the exact same game plan that we had with Semi on the wing you're dumber than what you make out the coaching staff to be.
