Based on the current climate with contract etc. I would argue that they mean nothing if you have enough money.

For example, player X is on 350k and is underpaid. Parra staffers to to player X's manager and say "if only he was available, we'd pay him 600k".

Then it steamrolls from there.

That being said, who is your pick of the props? Ignoring Roosters because it sounds like they wont let go of a Napa or a JWH.

For mine, I would either want a Napa or Klemmer.

Klemmer is a better prop than Napa. Much better in attack. Napa is quite overrated because of his agro. He misses a lot of tackles and his carries aren’t especially strong. I can see why the Chooks might be looking to save some cash on him.

Yes he would walk into our top 17 but he’s far from elite.

He went pretty good in all three Origin matches.

Paul Vaughan would have been a good pick up, his stats for 2017 are brilliant!!!

Can't believe BA didn't even talk to him!!

Klemmer,RCG, Bromwich, Vaughan are best proos in comp.
But the year prior Ryan James was right up there as was JWH and M.Scott.

Nappa is tough but isn't anywhere in the same ball park as above.
Not saying he cant be. Look at Brown.

So was Moses but his defence improved dramatically in only a few weeks when he came here. From what I've been told the coaches here teach players the right techniques, obviously most coaches do not because Moses had a few coaches at the Tigers.

Imo, there's a massive difference between a half who does not defend well (who is not in the side for their defence, and teams are happy to accommodate a half who doesn't defend well, provided they attack well), and a forward (where defence is literally 50% of what they're paid to do).

I do agree that Arthur would get the best out of him - however, why bother?

Not only does he have no idea how to defend, but he has a terrible footy brain.

He's all flash, no substance.

No, thank you.
