I think it's actually promising that they didn't rush and throw bags of money at him to get him to sign.

Show's that we've grown up as a club and aren't afraid to make unpopular decisions.

If nothing else, it should ensure that we don't have any players in the 2017 poll in the NRL section "Who has been the biggest waste of money signing for 2017?". We might have won that Poll for signing Sandow in the past or Foran this year, but dammit we've learnt our lessons.... Unless of course in desperation now we go and sign Sam Williams for 800K!!!!!

We only have 17 players signed for next year, with plenty of cap space. Why would you think we're not looking to sign better players?

We are in a position where we have to wait for NRL approval shit because of our own incompetence. The NRL don't have to do anything to f**k us over, because we've already done that ourselves. Stop blaming them for it.
