Jesus, I really hope we don't carry on like we have the last 2 years

I meant on the field. 10 games we've won without him this year. How many injuries/retirement/suspensions do we have and they're still having a dig.

rumour is NRL have topped up his contract by dipping into their war chest to the tune of $600k pa on the proviso he joined the Titans

so he's getting $1.8 million a year
Except they did away with the "war chest" early this year...

Can someone clarify something for me.? Hindmarsh was interviewed on Fox Sports & clearly states Parramatta HAS NOT OFFICIALLY OFFERED HAYNE a contract. (Nothing tabled to Hayne) so if this is the case, why are we all upset & angry at the player (Hayne). Shouldn't we be angry with the club & officials or even the Nrl. I'm as disappointed as the rest of you, but if Parramatta have not tabled an offer to Hayne then what is the player to do.? He obviously wanted to play this year. Our club & the Nrl need to get its act together, we have released some great players to be under the salary cap (Peats - Paulo) & the controversy surrounding Foran, The clubs priority should of been Hayne - Norman & securing a decent hooker. So can anyone tell me if Hayne was tabled an offer officially.? Is there any boys in Harold Matthews cup - SG. Ball - or u20s that could possibly develop in the next 3-4 years into NRL players we seem to develope a lot, but cant seem to hold onto them.

That's the magic word there, officially.

I think that Beavis went to BA telling him that he had an offer from the Tits, and asked Brad for a number, which he would have told him that the board had agreed to the amount we were willing to offer (reportedly 2.5m over 3 years), and Beavis told BA not to bother..

That way, they can say they didn't receive and "official" "Formal" offer, no fuss no muss... clear conscience for Jarryd..

Why does the club need to make a statement? Jarryd Hayne was not contracted to us and he still isn't. Did we make a statement when any other player signed with a different club? No? Why should we now?
I agree, f*ck this guy, if he wants media coverage he can get it himself.

Something. Anything would be good. Need some good news for the fans.
Colonel I was certain because the coaching staff was that he was coming. There was even a chance before the board got the arse that he was going to play with us this year. This is unprecedented treachery and his landing at the airport on the Gold Coast should be soured with a proper statement from us.
