And i recall Tanginoa and Davis called the best juniors clubs had since Hindmarsh from guys on here.

Sure it isnt easy spotting talent. Id do a solid job but will get occasional one wrong.
Talking about Davis he is so big now needs to shake hands with the forwards coach. If he can develop into a forward could be really good with his skill set as I doubt he has a NRL career in the backs.

Can you list them I am curious

Hindmarsh
Ryan
Lyon
Grothe Jr
Hayne
Mannah
Williams

Vella played Origin in 1999 (before Hindmarsh)
Hodgon and Moodie also debuted in Origin while playing for Parra although I discounted them because we didn't develop them (and included Williams for the same reason).

P J Marsh came down from QLD cup 1998. Played Eels reggies for 1999 and made his NRL debut in 2000. Played 4 origin games for QLD from 2002 to 2008.

Is he any bigger than Semi Radradra? Unless a bloke is 120kg the main decider for where he plays is his lateral movement and work rate. Davis is an outside back. I doubt he will ever even play second row.

Well going on from this. Daniel Wagon came to us as a winger and ended up in back row for Australia. So either Trex or Wags have to passable

Wagon didn't make his NRL debut for the Eels.
Yeah but Hindys argument was we didn’t develop Williams as a back rower. But we did turn Wags into one. So if we can’t claim Williams as an origin standard backrower we developed, we should be able to claim Wags for the same reasoning. Or more simply we can claim Williams as an origin class backrower from our junior ranks

ILL WILL #1

It's started: the stink between News Corp and NRL.com.

News Corp has been complaining for months about the NRL's new digital arm, presumably concerned about it taking away its readers.

This week, it fired in a written complaint after Parramatta gave an exclusive interview with Will Smith to NRL.com.

Sporting News pounced on the issue, writing in its gossip section NRL Leaks: "The Eels are getting good at smothering clear issues within the club. Recently, a simple interview request from The Telegraph to chat with utility Will Smith about how Jarryd Hayne's arrival will impact him was denied, only for him to turn up 24 hours later in a manufactured interview with PR machine, NRL.com."
