It took me a while to get Pou. Then in another thread i used a hero and villain term exasctly the same as him. You will get him one day. Takes a certain inteligence.
Or a certain dumbness?
Regardless of Pou's shit he is a great club supporter AND sometimes he makes sense.

Running time trials isn’t the only endurance exercise we would do all off season. I also think that would have been an off the cuff remark from BA in response to journos having a go at Hayne (if they were said at all). I can’t see Hayne finishing behind the likes of Junior Paulo and Pauli Pauli in any kind of aerobic contest.
'Running last' is colloquial for finishing near the back of the group. Even if he finished 5th or 6th last it still shows relatively poor endurance, which is the point Brad Arthur was making. It's why Hayne isn't our fullback. The reason certainly isn't lack of speed like some have claimed, or Gutherson would never have played fullback for us.

I’m not sure that’s a matter of fact. Im not arguing that Hayne is an endurance athlete, he clearly isn’t. I’m just saying he’s not as bad as the media would have you think.

Well he said it about Radradra. If he wasn't talking colloquially about finishing near the back of the group then he ran dead last. Either way the point stands. Fullbacks need to be very fit (like Gutherson) and not just fast, strong and skilful (like Hayne and Radradra). Here's what Arthur said about it:

“He (French) knows there is an opportunity to start the season at fullback and one of the demands of it is that he needs to be able to run a lot and get a lot of kilometres into your legs and not miss any opportunities.”

What the media thinks is irrelevant. What is very important, however, is how Hayne compares to the other fullback options in the team. Gutherson might be our first choice fullback, and if he is it's because he is the fittest option. Hayne and French both leave him for dead when it comes to speed. Hayne is also stronger and has more skill. I reckon French has shown more with the ball as well. But Gutherson is the type of fullback who is always there in attack. That is a massive benefit to our forwards and halves.

Again, I’m not disagreeing with any of that. The only thing I questioned was your statement that Hayne finished last in every endurance test.

Well he finished last in the one test we know about. Do you think he would do much better than last in any of the others?
