I'm disappointed that he didn't sign with us. I'm happy for Hayne to have signed a lucrative deal at the Titans though, and I look forward to seeing him play there, hopefully this weekend. I'm also looking forward to him helping NSW win back the S.O.O.
I've never met Hayne, nor do I know what has happened behind the scenes re negotiations so I'm not going to start casting aspersions about his character and calling him names.
He is the greatest Eel I've ever seen play and for that he will always have my respect.

Honesty is all that i require and because he wasn't, I am not interested in his story and while I don't wish injury on any player, i do not wish him well and I will not be happy or sad with whatever happens in his career going forward.

Because if we could have we would have. Why not? Because TPA providers are fans first and foremost, and they want to feel connected to the club including management. Our management get replaced every couple of years and TPA providers see the enemies of their friends take over. It creates a hostile environment for anyone connected to a previous regime.
