Bevan has not (yet) replied, at the moment I'm leaning towards believing Hayne going by his presser he just looked pretty disappointed to me.

It was a very odd press conference. And no mention from Todd today about how Hayne would be questioned about dodgy payments.

I think what you may find is that much of it hinges on Slater. I don't think he will return to Melbourne in a playing capacity. That will allow them more to keep him.

I'd give it to French. People reckon that Bev was rag dolled in defence but he will never be that type of fullback to return the ball back. He will do it with his step and speed. His ball playing from what I Have seen in the 20's is excellent.
