Auva'a defending at left centre, with Jennings back on the right.Alright enough teasing, enough training, time to start running through holes in defensive lines!

I'd prefer Paulo (or Boyd) to Austin. Assume Salmon or Gutho can replace Norman.Interesting that the Norman rumour only gets posted here a few hours after a similar thread was started on the nospam46 (which includes Hindy111 posted rumour above)

Why would/should we take one of RSs rejects who is an inferior player to Norman? Take one of his better players off him.
Does Salmon even exist ?
Salmon = Billy Rogers
He's recovering from surgery on his neck. What a stupid comparison to make even if you were joking. Also only turning 19 this year.

It’s all about value (with price a big part of this), plus for contracted players it depends whom the club is willing to release.I'd prefer Paulo (or Boyd) to Austin. Assume Salmon or Gutho can replace Norman.

The more you pay the more they "want to play for you".Just wanted to check whether anyone else on here thinks that a player actually needs to want to come and play for us in order for us to sign them.
Maybe it's just me that thinks that is part of the decision.

Janko was always a good player so what is your point of mentioning him. Unfortunately Auva'a is not a winger, can't catch and gets found out in D, and Taka not a forward, not yet, but should have spent time in Wenty first imo.
I think you have nailed it dead on, and it’s a factor of both.I think we are physically a good defensive team. The problem is we have periods where we drop our intensity. I suspect either the leadership in our team is poor, or we have a few personalities that actively resist leadership.

90 year old #CAMILLIONAIRE discussing the situation with the refsNo, good club management can to sign any player they want.
TBH I think glenny is actually a tad senileWhat? I was responding to a post about the quality of BA's signings. So, when he signs a good player (and with the Chooks paying a little freight) that's irrelevant?
If BA was to sign a good, big forward would that be irrelevant?
I said this sometime last year, but i reckon Wicks' premature departure set us back a little.
