No I'm saying sometimes you take a risk and throw a young bloke into the game rather than persisting with an out of form player or one obviously past his use by date. RL is full of risks and selecting a rookie player is one of those, same as playing an out of form player. They could both cost you the game, or help win it. Tell me any coach that doesn't take risks.Some thrive, some absolutely shit themselves and lose a tight game single-handedly. But surely it can't hurt just throwing the bloke out there to see what happens?!?
Unless, unlike Glenneel, you don't assume we are going to lose anyway. Then what-have-we-got-to-lose? is a really stupid attitude.
