Basically yeah. The cattle are actually pretty good stock, just they are roaming around like they’ve attacked the farmer’s hemp stock and don’t seem inclined to do what they are paid to do. And now they are getting their ass handed to them on and off the field and they’re completely shitting themselves. The issues are too numerous to say “I’d sign this player or I’d sack this coach”.

I don’t think we necessarily overachieved last year but I think a lot of the players aren’t used to putting in long term without the motivation that they had in 2016 and then last year following that crap year. We probably only had 3 players with something else to play for being Moses, Norman and Brown with origin potential. And all 3 look like that’s been their sole focus/distraction and are swimming in quicksand especially when everyone else looks like they are on a completely different page.

Time to pull your head out of your 2017 arse and get up to date. So far we are shit and most of that is on the forwards, too small, too one dimensional and too poor and BA over-rated them except for a few here, me, Ram and Hindy plus a few others. BA assembled this team so now has to accept responsibility for their performance or lack thereof.

I think when your being paid big money to perform and your not performing and your team is currently winless during the first month of the season anyone with half a brain would be doing all they can to turn things around.
The bottom line is if your drinking alcohol you can’t perform/recover as well as if your not drinking and we need these players in peak health.
Do you think Cameron smith and Billy slater get on the piss if Melbourne were going poorly? How do you think Craig Bellamy would react to that?
These are professional athletes and when your winless at the start of the season I think avoiding alcohol and doing what you can to turn this around is a no brainer.
