But his versatility means that he'd be a good solid top 17 player for four or five other clubs....why would he want to play for Wenty? Just as two obvious ones, he'd probably wear the 6 at Manly and the 9 at Canberra if he came out next week...

With us he looked like a future international (EDIT-For Australia, not a minnow). If he can rediscover that form (well, that fitness more than anything), under an increased cap 600-700k is perfectly fine given Packer is on 500-550....

You reckon these are the three lowest paid players in the squad? Minimum salary for the 26 highest paid players is $100k. Minimum for players 27-30 is $70k. We only have 29 players.
