Why would Hayne win them a comp, when he never won us a comp (even in his breakout year 2009) and couldn't even get us in the finsls in his other good year (2014)?It's proven we overspent on the cap on the likes of Hayne/Foran/sandow. The jury is still out on whether the Titans have too. Hayne may jag them a Comp or two.
Can he play in the halves? So apparently we have offered Peter Parr a position as football manager

I'm pretty sure they understand the importance of it. That's why they get penalised so often.Because they have a better forward pack than The Plane ever played with at Parra, who also understand the importance of winning the play the ball, which no Parra forward pack has consistently achieved in over a decade.

I think as a club we prefer to spend our money in the backs. 'Winning the ruck' requires expensive forwards, and only the clubs that spend a lot more than us on players can afford expensive forwards as well as expensive spine players. Melbourne at least seem to save some money by signing cheap outside backs. Their most expensive would be Chambers, and he's not in the same class as Jennings or Radradra. Looks good in a strong team though.
I love how he mentions our office having woes. They didn't seem to have woes when they paid him to be ambassador for the passed two years. Nor did they have woes when they decided to sell his merchandise. Hayne used the club for money and to enhance his brand. Then tossed us in the bin when he was done. I'm sure Hayne would be having restless nights and regrets on his decision. Had he signed with the eels I'm sure he would of made up the shortfall over the coming years. Hayne needs to grow up and realise he isn't greater than any club, especially ours!!!
When he cited our front office issues as one of the reasons he ended up going with the Titans instead of us, I would loved to have been able to ask him - Why were you asking Tim Mannah on Monday what was going on and did he think Parra were going to sign you? That doesn't sound like someone who cares much about front office issues...
Anyways, it's all semantics... Bottom line is he signed for the bottom line... good on him, but he should just admit to himself and everyone else he did it for the money, no other reason - god, better front office, better weather etc... filthy lucre plain and simple....
our squad?
you follow Penrith and the Pink Poofs
U want a medal?i stated not long after he left that if he ever returned to the NRL it would never be to Parra
the dog wanted out in 2014
Try living up here???? It's laughable they are in the 8 and half the Bronco fans i know have given up and are cheering on the Cows. Not joking they are that fickle, i tell them try following Parra you weak merkins.
masturbatingWhat are these 23,000 members doing?
Eventually you have to pay your own juniors market price or close to it. There is big demand for guys like Bromwich, Harris and Proctor. Even McLean would get offers around $300k.With the exception of Finucane though, the Storm didn't really buy any of their current forwards originally when they were going to cost them an NRL salary and have never spent alot on buying established forwards (including Finucane in their current team) in the time Bellyache has been there.
I would suggest that we currently pay our middle forwards combined more than the Storm pay theirs combined.
i want you to stop sending naked pics of Gus that you've tributedU want a medal?
poser
I think playing finals this year would have been a factor. But if we'd stumped up the money he wanted I reckon he would have come back. Anyway, I'm glad we didn't.Apparently another Sydney team (presume the Dragons) were offering more than the Titans. Again, he probably didn't think they were going to play Final's so he didn't bother taking up the offer.
I think he's purely made the decision on the team where he can show is best for the next two months. He's thought about nothing beyond that, but knows the Titans are going to pay him shitloads whilst he's there.
Why would he consider playing for Parra in 2016? It's stupid to think he would have considered it.
