Have you watched the eels this year? Moeroa has spend the majority of his game time this year in the middle. Pretty sure he started at lock once, when starting on the edge he only plays 20 or so mins there, additionally he has started a few games from the bench then going into the middle.

But the things that have been said this year were also pertinent last year. Take away Radradra and a very lucky draw and some very close wins that could have gone either way, and all this years criticisms were applicable last year. Maybe these 'whingers' really know their football, and could see the wood through the trees. I think that's more than possible.

I reckon it just depends on injures unless he absolutely kills it in NSW cup.

He is a decent size and appears to be able to play centre/edge and halves like Bird. So it potentially makes it easier to debut him from the bench.

A club can have between 3-6 Development Squad players and I reckon we have 4, in DA, GL, RM and RS.

So we have one spot left to fill by June 30 which means sign someone mid-season or promote one of the above 4 to the full time squad with a minimum salary of $70k.

No, I meant the 4 of DA, GL, RM and RS. As stated, Salmon is already in Top 30 or we wouldn't have 29 which was required by 31 March.

And as the rules state, development squad can be from 3-6 players so there is no requirement to promote someone. If there was someone worth having in the development squad this year, surely they would have taken one of the 2 remaining vacancies.
