I saw highlights of the trial, and it was all positive. I didn’t watch Saturdays game and I haven’t even commented it it because I didn’t watch it. Unfortunately I’ve sat through the rest of the season. We never once heard anything about Evans fitness until Pou decided to tell us all how unfit he was.

Noise has inside info and he was a stand out in the pre season apparently.

What you have a problem with is the fact that he didn't satisfactorily address the issue. You are also making that judgement retrospectively. Sadly, your mate BA isn't afforded that luxury.

2 wins, 7 losses is enough to know that everyone (including the coach) are not performing.

It’s certainly possible. But it’s too small a sample to know anything for certain. Four of those losses were decided on goal kicking. As for the coach, I believe once the season has started there isn’t a lot he can do to fix the biggest issues. In fact even in the off season there are conditions impacting his ability to make improvements.

Your correct Baz but the big thing is that BA didn't see it. Now to blow my own horn, I did see it and said he should improve the forwards big time to replace him. He didn't and the results are now there to see. Now if I can see it why didn't he????

We have better forwards than last year. Our back three is worse. They are very different roles. Even the hit ups they make happen at different times and in different ends of the field.

Hayne is now the best metre maker in our outside backs and he has been injured. Or maybe it’s a f**ken excuse and Arthur just dropped him on form.

French also didn’t play for Wenty when dropped so that means nothing. It is entirely plausible that BA is managing egos by not trotting them out for Wenty.

Playing for Wenty also doesn’t help players recover from injury. Why has Evans only played one game for Wenty despite all the weeks he’s been out of the NRL side?

Tbh, if people have the right to criticise, then people have the right to criticise the the criticism. And then people have the right to criticise the the criticism of the criticism and eventually we'll reach some kind of critical mass of criticism and we'll all merge into one poster who never has anything positive to say.

How many NRL players do you think aren’t 100% when they take the field each week? And are you aware there are numbers between 0 and 100?

There is a threshold where a player is less than 100% (fitness or injury) but still well enough to play. I think dopes like you struggle with anything that’s not black and white.

He was brung in to the squad as a top 17 player but he was never expected to carry the team. Ma’u, Brown and probably Moeroa would be on more than him.

He was the only middle forward Purchased so I’m willing to bet Ba thought he would be enough to bolster our middle.

No I made that judgement before the season started in a TCT post. Also stated in a post here after round 2.

Well he was. We don't have a lot of tall, fast middle forwards who can offload. As I said, he was brang into the squad as a top 17 player but he wasn't to be the type of forward leader that has the Bulldogs and Manly on two wins. Just someone to disrupt the opposition defence inside the 20.
