Of course we don't have the offloads with Evans, Williams, Brown and Vae on the sidelines.Again with last year. Do we have to rehash all the favourable variables that allowed us to compete successfully only just mind you when it came to scoring points and finishing off teams. Did we not have one of the slickest backlines in the NRL? So why did we have such a pathetic F/A for a team in the top four?
The difference this year is teams are bringing it to us big time. They know we have a great pack of toilers that will go all day if they don't bash us up frond and so they do. They focus on their defense and run at our boys like bulls knowing we don't have the size or the offloads that can hurt them if they keep it up.
Actually I didn't post after any losses this year. I didn't need to because the death riders went into hiding.Coaches as you keep saying Pou do their homework and they have done it on us. Our forwards will look like world beaters when the opposition take them for granted and or are mentally shot like Manly were. Then people like you will say, see they are now playing focused and doing all the thing that you mentioned above. Then you will feel like a genius again in your own little satisfied mind and I'm sure you will tell all about it too.
I agree our middle attack isn't our strength, but it would be a damn sight better with our best attacking forwards on the field. But as we showed last year, you don't need a great attacking middle to win games. Last year proved it. Our start this year doesn't erase what was proved in 2017. Our middle defence was very good last year though, and will be again if our poor discipline doesn't keep forcing us to spend 55% of the game defending.
