With Salmon as understudy to Hayne. Shop French and Norman. So we buy Holmes and Korobeiti, a decent hooker (with Mahoney as his understudy) and one more quality forward. We buy four players and we look a whole lot better. Give Arthur one more year to see what he can do with a team like that. And, yes, we pay overs - 'cause we have to.

Yep that would be even better, but I don’t think the cap would allow for it. Perhaps try to offload Mennings, Norman and French, re-sign Hayne to play 6, bring Salmon into the backline and go all out for Holmes and Korobeite. Hopefully still have enough to make a play for Tapau as well.

More likely we will end up without Hayne or Korobeite, French at fullback, lose Norman, Austin in the halves, miss out on Taupau and have Lane or Evans coming off the bench. Not good

If that’s the best BA can muster then he well and truly needs to go as 2019 will be another wasted year. If he can have a very strong recruitment drive then I’d be happy to see what he can get out of them next year. Otherwise, I’d be tapping him on the shoulder.

Another couple rumours swirling around Parra atm. Apparently John Cartwright in frame to become assistant coach. Actually would like that appointment, always liked the way Titans attacked when he was coach.

Yes so we'll swap Norman for Austin (replace him with an even worse player) and release Moses to Broncos and let French go, sounds like a BA master stroke. Already Lane on the BA bus to Parra Leagues Club, pity it didn't stop at Taupau's house along the way, but this is BAs rebuilding master stroke.
Really think French can actually become a good fullback with right forwards and a decent game plan as its not working for him atm.

I have a feeling that this years recruitment will go well. I have no idea why but I do. We will end up having to keep a few that most of you would rather see gone and hopefully they can improve. We will buy a few that most of you would rather we didn't and hopefully they can exceed your expectations.

Have our players become shit or is their form down? I think people are underrating our players after half a season. Either that or we overrated them based on the previous two seasons.
