How much influence would Segeyaro have? I assume that Mahoney would be the starting dummy half, and we've seen he's already capable of playing most of a game this year. With another pre-season and the rest of this season, if we sign Segeyaro or any other dummy half we may only plan to play them for 20-30 minutes a game.
I don’t think it’s a given Mahoney would be a starting dummy half. He may very well if our current stocks remain but I’d be starting Seggy and playing him the first 30 and the last 25 everyday of the week over Mahoney.

Am not a Segeyaro fan. Pass. Gotta be better options somewhere or within. Him, Norman, Paulo, Hayne and Fergo together would be party central. Hire Buderus to teach our guys. Specialised coaching is the key.

My wish list
Would love to see
Taupau,
Segy
Koribete
And a 2nd rower like
Lachlan Fitzgibbon - Fitala - Mariner - Kikau
If we are to sign Austin or any other 5/8 i would still keep Norman if possible

I dont believe at all that Gutho is a centre or a winger. If we keep him he can only play fullback & for this reason id move him on.

1. Norman
2. Koribete
3. Jennings
4. Fergo/Hayne
5, Hayne/Fergo
6. Austin/ ..Or anyone else?
7. Mosses
8. Paulo
9. Seggy
10. Tapau
11. Lachlan Fitzgibbon - Fitala - Mariner - Kikau
12. Tep / Manu
13. Brown

This is what id love to see. But i know its wishful thinking Ideally Jennings to go & find another outside back.!

Agree on the Specialized coaching we need a half coach for starters...

I'm might be stupid.! But i'm still not sold on Mahoney yet. I dont see what some are raving about. I like his work rate in defence but that's it.
Time will tell.
If anything i agree id prefer Seggy over Mahoney starting. It might be a role Mahoney would suit comming off the bench

I think he’s been pretty solid for his age but there’s no way he is a better option than Seggy at this stage of his career.

Seg and Mahoney would be a good rotation.

Mahoney has played 2 games need to give him time to develop.

Segeyaro is an arse dragger in defence. We will already have Paulo. How many can we cover in the middle of the defensive line? And for how many minutes?

Genuine question...what are Seggy’s stats? The Sharks’ 2017 player review indicates he averaged 21.2 tackles per game, whilst Brailey averaged 36.5 tackles per game. 57 tackles (ish) from your hooker rotation seems decent to me but I haven’t seen his missed tackles or tackle efficiency.

Bev hasn't even played 50 games, how has he had ample opportunity at fullback?
I would say he and Gutho have had similar time there, maybe Gutho more.

And in that time Gutho has shown a lot more then French.

Whether it's ample or not he hasn't been impressive.
