no it's not
it's his job and he alone is responsible for their performance
Why do we pay players at all then?

So you are agreeing with me that not everything is down to the coach. The players also influence outcomes.
Thanks for your support.

No. The players also need to perform.no it's not

And then an interpretive dance! Really sink the boot in.The true future of rugby league is coaches standing on a field, shouting game plans at each other at the top of their lungs....
So was QLDs dominance entirely due Mal Meninga’s coaching? No. I’m stating no coach could of stopped the qld dominance.
Yeah righto....Getting the ball more often means getting it closer to the ruck, where the defence is tightest. Out wide there is more space but less ball. It's a trade-off. But more is expected of fullbacks and halves (even the ones wearing 6) than just the ability to beat defenders. If you have a back whose main role is to take on the defence you stick him at wing or centre. Whenever Hayne is passing before the line or kicking he is being wasted.

Yes. Yes it is.Isn't that pretty much consistent with what Gary was saying?
Players have no bearing on the outcome of a game of football.
well then the coach shouldn't have signed them or he's doing a piss poor job at coaching themIt’s absolutely f**ken laughable that some people have suggested that players don’t have a bearing on the outcome of a game of football. Stupid beyond belief.
Too many cooks. That's down to BA.What if they're all captain-coaches?

He has a role to play but he isn't entirely responsible. He doesn't get out on the field and play.well then the coach shouldn't have signed them or he's doing a piss poor job at coaching them
he is responsible for who is playing and how they're playing

Anyway, you are talking out of your coight. You have been very critical of players in the past. What gives now?
