sounds like Peats doesn't like BA or Parra at all

Gold Coast Titans hooker Nathan Peats advised Jarryd Hayne he will be able to express himself away from Parramatta Eels
The last man forced to walked away from Parramatta advised Jarryd Hayne the shackles had been thrown off on his own game since he left for the Gold Coast and Neil Henry's regime would allow the code hopper to express himself.
Nathan Peats, the sacrificial lamb in the Eels' salary cap scandal, told Hayne if he was to turn his back on his boyhood club he would be joining a team not at the whim of dominant playmakers such as Brad Arthur's Parramatta.
Peats' words came only hours before Hayne signed on the dotted line to join the Titans on a two-year deal – including for the rest of this season – and the former San Francisco 49er wasted no time in dazzling on debut against the Warriors, despite throwing a pivotal intercept pass.
Asked what differences Hayne could expect at the Titans from his own experiences, Peats said: "Probably just playing a bit more open footy. There's not as much pressure on me here, I don't think.
"At Parramatta we had dominant halves, but up here we've got young halves. Tyrone [Roberts] and Ash [Taylor] really play off the cuff and that's the type of footy I like to play.
"I can probably do a bit more for myself up here rather than Parra – I'm not working as hard on my defence – and that's nothing against Parra. I loved my footy while I was there and I loved playing there, but I probably wasn't doing as much work [on my attack] down there as I am up here.
"I'm lucky to get my attack going again and there's still a lot of improvement to go."
Hayne agonised over his decision to reject an offer worth $500,000 a season less than his Titans deal to rejoin Parramatta, but will slot in at five-eighth for the Gold Coast's crucial clash against the red-hot Tigers at Campbelltown on Saturday afternoon.
Peats said it would take a little bit of time for Hayne to come to terms emotionally with the fact his future was on the holiday strip and not western Sydney, but would relish the ability to play with freedom in a team that had made giant strides this year.
"I had a chat to him the night before he signed and told him how enjoyable the club is and the differences between here and Parramatta," Peats said. "At the end of the day, it's a business. Parramatta know that, as well.
"It was hard when I left, but you get over it. You get paid to play footy and you have to do a job. I'm sure it's hard on him and he wanted to be at the [Parramatta], but you get paid to play footy and he'll settle in."
Peats and Hayne could be two of four players the Eels offloaded or were favoured to sign mid-season that play finals football. Former Eels Junior Paulo (Canberra) and Ryan Morgan (Melbourne) are assured of post-season action with their respective clubs.
