Mate, we're top 2 or 3, if not first in forced dropouts... We can build pressure with our kicking game.... We just don't have a clue what to do after we build that pressure

Yep, I don’t understand the “our halves don’t have a good kicking game” comments. Getting a repeat set has been the least of our issues.

At the asking price, not interested. Stay in Bleak City, Dumptser.

Who would you rather, Norman for $900k or Munster for $1m?

Having said that, Munster is a snow balls of coming to Parra for only $1 million. The Storm will pay him that at least.

1 Gutherson
2 Ferguson
3 Jennings
4 Takarangi
5 Hayne

6 Norman (if here)
7 Moses
8 Jnr Paulo
9 Mahoney
10 Alvaro
11Tepai
12Lane
13Brown

14 Terepo
15 Manu
16 Mannah
17 Niakuore

If we can find one more good option on bench would be great.
Moses and Norman at 7 and 6 doesn't work.

12 months ago most clubs would have killed to have this combination in their ranks. The real problem is finding out what actually happened and why. Then fix it. If we dont have people in our system to fix it then thats the real problem.
Good players dont become bad footballers without an impacting influence.

I reckon the impacting influence is actually the players themselves.

My mail is that whilst they get on okay, they just don't 'gel' on the field. Both of them want to be "the man" and there is a lack of mutual respect on the field.

One of them is a pretty bad influence on some of the other players off the field as well.

Happy to be proven wrong though .

I understand the standard line mate. It appears everyone wants to run with this. What i see is both really putting in. Norman has been shifted yet hes still working hard. Some of his last line defence has been amazing. Moses defence has improved leaps and bounds. Skill and talent are rare comodities and both these blokes have it in spades. Put a plan/structure in place that keeps everybody happy and works. Again i say if we arent capable of this then get people who are. Would this happen at Brisbane or The Storm? I think not.

This is a very good comment. Very much agree. Not to sure there is a silver bullet answer though.
So many arguments that it’s foreards but their last tackle options just look desperate or lost.

Btw, remember when Junior Paulo was rubbed out for 8 weeks?!!!

Dylan Napa’s tackle was one of the worst I’ve seen in a while. Broncos hooker may recover but my belief is he’ll have neurological issues from that brain knock to rival any NFL case study.

Anyway, back to my point. If Napa doesn’t get same or more (his was much worse) than Paulo it’s a joke.

This is just a comment from my observations, so i might be wrong and i have zero internal knowledge ...

Leadership is a massive issue in the team ... One of my biggest issues with both norman and moses is that whilst still youngish, they have both been in the nrl for quite a while now ... and they are both in a position to be big influences in the team

I know moses has only been here a year and a half, but norman is older and been here for 4 years now ..... while they talk on the field directing play, we need hard heads who will pull the troops together when shit goes bad ... i dont think either are able to do that .... they both seem flighty, hot heads

People rubbish signing guys like watmough and scott, but i think the old fellas gave us some stability and helped with confidence .... hell even kenny was a bit of leading strength at times

You're back more often @Stevie. Things settled down a bit?

Hey Pal!

My little girl is now 52 days in NICU but the end is in sight. Now on no air or oxygen, doubled her weight (2.1kg) and just going great. We hope to have her home in 2-3 weeks. The Mrs is at hospital all day and I work all day and am there all night. But, we are happy.
We even had the Burgess baby next to us for a couple days ha ha.

Thanks mate. Very long stretch but she is healthy and the end is in sight!

The teams success was a result of individual brilliance, primarily from Semi, but also some energy and effort and getting yourself in the right place to take advantage of things in Gutho.

Semi's ability to bring the ball back from our own line, his ability to more often than not get us a penalty coming out of trouble and his and Gutho's ability to create tries out of nothing was what all our success was built on. Semi's now gone and so has the primary reason for success.

The Raiders had the same reasons for their success in 2016 and we had the same reasons for our success in 2009 and a decent 2014 season.

You cant sustain success on individual brilliance alone. It is fleeting and as quick as it comes, then as quick as it goes.

Outside of individual brilliance our game plan and teamwork is an abomination. Individual brilliance just masked the deficiency of the team.
