The fact that we went from 4th to 16th in one season is inexcusable and ultimately the buck stops at the Big-dog. So he has to go now in my view (unless his replacement like Holbrook or Flanagan are not available until 2020).

The reason why sides slide however is very complex and would love everyone to first analyse the demise of the Cowboys, why they have been hot and cold all year and then play like the All Blacks on Friday.

Same analysis with STG. They were premiership favs leading into origin, then started to slide. They were horrible yesterday and I think we would have put them away. The Footy Gods have been very kind to them this year with injuries, yet they have really hit the wall.

Yes we have been shit pretty much all year, but I find it compelling that there are teams who have great squads on paper, yet fail to deliver.

From all reports a great assistant coach particularly in attack which is what we need, however after Sharp changed the locks on him after appointing him it’s highly unlikely.

I have no confidence in the Penny pinching Auditor, this bloke was handpicked by Max same as the rest of the board. None with any RL experience, it was shown by all the cost cutting on the football department. Which has now won us a spoon, not one of this new amazing board questioned the decision. And we still have lost 10mil. And you wonder why I have no confidence????

I’d be cutting ties with him. It’s not like he will be likely re-signed for 2020. Why waste another season and be distracted when we announce that we are going in another direction by mid 2019. If we think the extra help will assist him just extend him now for a year.

I'd be a bit worried hiring an assistant who has fair dinkum aspirations to take over as head coach too ... couldn't see that going well ..... need someone who is legitimately content to be an assistant

BTW, read some of your posts whilst I was away. I saw how much you missed me and I appreciate it.

BA is a good man with a tremendous work ethic but he in my opinion is stale and needs to go.

I just dont feel like he has a high IQ. His style can work to fire a squad up for a short while but lets be honest he is just playing monkey see monkey do footy . There is nothing exciting or new in any of our games. Same stuff that every other team does.
BA could of used the last 10 games to practise new moves and tactics for 2019 but instead he chose to keep doing the same.
As our squad improved with less injuries we looked better but the issue is has does not have an alternate game plan for when troops are low thst can make it difficult for opponent. Just churns out the same shit.

Been a good coach and helped the club. But I also think Ricky helped our club too which many dont see. Ricky leaving showed how poorly run we where.

His task is to prepare our elite juniors with the transition to senior football..... he’s done a great job with that this year
