I reckon it’s a role he’s more suited to.I remember when Smithy was coaching us the chorus of deathriders couldn't wait to see the back of him.
Now we seem to have gone full circle with some of the same people wanting him back.
I wonder how many will want BA back as HOF in 10 years time.
Did we win the bye? Shit then miracles do happen!6 wins actually ... plus one bye
But 100%You were very close to 85% right. Don't sweat it mate.
it does to me if you read below
But wait here is more:
“After the warm ups, stretching and core strength work with Lachlan Wimot, the squad launched into a couple of kilometres of shuttle runs. ”
https://thecumberlandthrow.com/2018...-training-january-8-2018-big-blokes-bring-it/
“In addition to the regular core strength stretches and runs, there were fun games and highly coordinated sprint sequences. Watching the range of drills employed by Lachlan Wilmot, and how synchronised the squad were in their execution, really emphasised the buy-in of the playersWell out of the few thousand words they wrote the last been above us is really the only time they give the AFL credit and it was an opinion piece. The rest was just reporting I reckon.

Bev showed his real speed in Roosters game, his best game of the year imo. Gave Tedesco a 2 metre start and run him down and prevented a try! So who is the quickest player in NRL, probably Bev. With right tactics and dominant pack I still believe he'll make a good fist of fullback in the Dufty mould. But BAs tactics, or lack thereof, have severely hindered him.Well he never got himself involved enough for any chance to burn anybody. Against Mounties in ISP both wingers showed him the sideline and he left them for dead. Also the time trial was in December and he would have been fresh
I don’t disagree with anything you posted there. The club is terrible at the moment. F**ken terrible.
Personally I think some people such as yourself and Ram try and project yourselves as geniuses when clearly you aren’t.
Also, there is a very strong tendency to talk things up with the benefit of hindsight (which those that are managing the issues don’t get to do). Everyone can look like a genius with hindsight and occasionally I like to remind you of that.
It would be pretty boring if we all just agreed with you and told you that you were brilliant. We’d also be lying to you, but more importantly, lying to ourselves.
No hard feelings and just a bit of banter at the end of the day.
they said AFL guy was our best signing after you claimed they weren't jerking off over himSelective reading again:
On your first point. Then STOP needling everyone that decides to vent or express their opinions on that very topic ffs or you just sound like a schizophrenic baiter who is just being a dick.
As for trying to project ourselves as geniuses, sure at times Hindy and I will clown around and pretend to be know it alls, but that is clearly tongue in cheek stuff. The other times we are just putting forward our own belief as to what could benefit our roster/club or what they should not have done in the first place and now look at the mess that has transpired.
Is some of it in hindsight? Yeah of causes it is and for sure, but many of the things that our club has done that has turned out to be disastrous many here not just Hindy and I had misgivings from the very beginning. But you and Gronk and others, have your own revisionist history model you work from and will keep hammering that agenda till the handle breaks off. HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER...
Perfect simple example of agenda besmirching is to constantly criticise anyone who suggested we need big forwards. You and others seized on that and made out that we were referring to anyone that was fat and heavy and that that wasn't the issue and that we should be seeking quality. Well der. It didn't matter how many times we said it was a given that the big forwards needed to be quality, the derision and jokes kept coming.
HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER...
As for the those who manage the issues not having hindsight, sure, but they do/should have inside information that should make their decisions less likely to backfire if they are up to it. Well results over the years have taught us that they have been wanting on that and thus we are here again...14th wooden spoon. Now how can Hindy and I and others ever be unhappy about that? And how could we ever be critical in hindsight or otherwise?
I'll tell you what, you, Gronk and the other apologist are lucky you don't follow European Soccer. Teams over there have 1 or 2 losing seasons and the fans want to lynch everyone associated with the team. The apologists are outnumbered 100:1 And my hostility towards losers is amateurish when compared to those fanatics.
And yes it would be very boring if we all simply agreed on everything. Oh and believe me that I am absolutely lying to you when I say that I think you are freakin brilliant.
Tongue in cheek dude, don't get your knickers in a knot. Cheers

I was one of those, but who said anything about him coaching the team or don't you understand the difference between the 2 rolls being discussed here? Or don't you think he is qualified for the roll of HOF?
I didn't give any opinions so not sure how you can make such a conclusion from my post. I was making an observation based on how peoples behaviours/opinions has changed over the years.
Personally I think he would do a good job as HOF because he has shown that he can do the job by what he has achieved at the Warriors but as he is still under contract to them I dont think he is on our list of candidates.

Cool. I think he would do a good job too. As for contract? They mean nothing if there is a will to break it. It's made even easier if he chose to do so, by citing that he wants to come home(family) etc...
that's all that was required2 paragraphs out of a couple thousand words!!
All good mate. Nothing like a bit of healthy debate. On your first point. Then STOP needling everyone that decides to vent or express their opinions on that very topic ffs or you just sound like a schizophrenic baiter who is just being a dick.

...and it’s more than what often triggers it.that's all that was required
Lol. Can go in reverse as well mate but that just about sums it up. Looks like BA has done a Houdini so best to move on and wish him well. A huge task to turn The Titanic around though. So it's gone from bash the coach to.. Bash who ever shows support to the coach before the season started..
