I attended just as many sessions as 60s through the year.
The mechanics were probably 2% of the training component. 60s commented on it as it was new to what we have seen in the last 3 years of watching them train, and AFL guy was happy to take the time and explain what it was all about. Shame on 60s for sharing it with you..
As a result of this hamstring injuries were down and the hamstring injuries that did occur were of a lower grade.
On the last day of training before Christmas the team had a 100m time trial. Every player ran a personal best. Bev's time would have qualified him for the Commonwealth games

To bad we are playing footy and not doing 100mtr sprints. Should of power trained them

SHOOSH

WHICH young Canberra Raiders forward was spotted in the company of Eels coach Brad Arthur last week with a view to joining Parramatta next season?

EELS TO OFFLOAD MOSES

WE keep hearing Parramatta are shopping around half Mitchell Moses after a decision was made that either Corey Norman or the former Wests Tigers star has to go.

The Eels know Moses will attract more interest from rival clubs, which means it will be easier to offload him without a huge burden on their salary cap. Norman is on nearly $900,000 next year and would struggle to find a club to pay even half of that.
Hopefully not Knight, Evans 2.0 but a worse version. But he is just the sort of player BA likes, cheap and not NRL quality but worth a 4 year contract. BA will improve him by getting him to stop any offloading.

If anyone has watched the finals games what you see is teams taking some risks and attacking on more then 50% of sets. Never giving the defense time to rest.
It is exciting footy.

Also teams have a 2nd rower on the edge able to bust the game open and are a point of attack. All these players are focal points of attack.

Kafusi
Kikau
Cordner
Crighton/Sutton/Murray
Frizzel/Sims
TPJ/Fifita

Id say of the 3 winning teams so far their edge strike 2nd rower has been one of the reasons they won and in top 3 players

Cordner,Kafusi,Kikau

If saints caused an upset to win id expect Frizzel and Sims to be standouts.

Is that like when some merkin decides to mend his ways, but soon returns to his usual self?

Yeh, that's a potential example.

Or in our case, our average performance over the last 20 years is probably 9th or 10th (maybe 11th), and the further we get away from that level in a given season, the more strongly we revert towards that level the following season. It is just a measure of statistical tendencies over time....doesn't have to apply.
