Well if you don’t laugh you cry, and I sure those two games with Watmong made him into the player he is today. 3 million bucks well spent.
Players would do the vast majority of their development in training, especially in the pre-season. Alvaro got two of those with Watmough.

But so does Pou, and he has an answer for everything and its all roses. Mediocrity must flow thru his veins. He accepts every bad signing and puts a positive spin on it and even this year is not so bad (according to him) because we went well in 2017. Well we came 4th but didn't win a finals match, but that's ok because we came 4th!
What if we were a 50% chance of winning either finals match? What if we were a 70% chance of winning? There would still be a chance we would lose both games. There are no guarantees. Just because you lose a game doesn't mean you were no chance of winning. If the refs hadn't bailed the Storm out in that second half we would've won the finals match in Melbourne.

Sometimes you're just unlucky. Look at the Storm's first half in the grand final. The Roosters had a bit of luck and ended up with all the ball. In a far more even second half the Storm scored the only try.

We need plenty of players to improve their form next season.
Norman and Moses more than anyone else. Their horrendous play this year was robably the main reason for our lowly position. If just one of them plays to even half his potential, we probably win a few more games and don't finish last.

Michael Jennings, Manu Ma'u, Brad Takairangi, Bevan French, Clint Gutherson and even Nathan Brown were all considerably down on their 2017 form, and need to quickly get it back.
Evans needs to show what he is capable of if he wants a permanent place in the top grade.
I am hoping against all hope that Moses shows the same form next year as he showed this year (or worse).

Sorry don't like that team, especially the forwards. Only 3 forwards top 110kg and that starting pack would get rolled by most if not all the other packs. Oh well another wooden spoon on the menu coming up.
This pack won 6 from 9 in 2016:

Paulo
Peats
Mannah
Ma'u
Scott
Moeroa
De Gois
Edwards
Terepo
Wicks

It's not much different from next year's pack.

That’s what they say, but if you listen to Gus’s podcast a few weeks ago, they wanted Maloney to let Peachey off. So there is a deal there, you just have to find what they want.
I think we will end up convincing the Titans to take either Norman or Moses.

Where is Peachy's best spot??? 6??? 4??? 1??? He's a very good attacking player but I'm not sure where he fits in, we have enough of those players.

Agreed. I don’t know where you play him. I just reckon BA is desperate to punt one of our halves.

Where is Pau Pau's man Jane Evans? Hope he isn't still finding his fitness in Wentworthville :sweat_smile:

Another dud Brad Arthur signing. 3 years for a fringe first grader.
That fringe first grader played 60+ games in three years for your club. Will he play another 60 games for us or are we too good for him?

Not all that enthralled with Peachy tbh... I think he's probably the perfect #14 despite his apparent hissy fits with Griffin when he was played from the bench. I don't really see him as an 80 minute fullback, or 80 minute centre, or 80 minute half or 80 minute backrower... But I think he can be effective in any of those positions for 30-40 per game. Reminds a bit of Dean Widders. A man's got to know his limitations as Harry Callahan would say...

Nrl site states he is 108kg, the roosters site states 108kg however your source Wiki could be correct.

Anyhow still only 3 players which Glenneel states is not enough big men for a pack!
JWH would be over 110kg for sure. Napa might not though. He's tall but a bit skinny.
