He prob never sees first grade. No difference then when sign some up and coming under 20s guys who never makes it.
Can only guess that D. Aka,Faiinga arent up to it and no under 20s player is expdcted to break into first grade. I would of been more excited if that young 2md rower atakimanou or however spelt was promoted cause id be thinking gee he must be good and cant wait to see him play.

Yeah fair point. Hard to sugarcoat anything associated with the eels of 18. Surely we can’t be expecting a similar year in 19.

On a positive note, I was really pleased to read Fergo turning up 3 weeks early to the training paddock for light drills and show the attitude he has displayed the last 12 months.

I hope he is a great addition to our strike power out wide next year!

I don't see the issue with Davry, tbh - he's a "safe" signing, because:

* he has good physical attributes already, so does not need to further develop
* is matured, at 27, so attitude should not be an issue
* would not cost much

If we reach a point where Faingaa, Utoikamainu (sp), etc, are not ready for First Grade, on paper at least, Davey is a safer bet to make the jump, and would not cost much.

His strike power will be in the middle or from restarts I reckon. If he plays outside Mennings he wont see much ball on the edge.

I know NOTHING about him..BUT someone must have seen potential in him for the Club to sign him, and put him in the TOP 30...There are better judges of 'footballing flesh' out there than me...that's for sure, but I am at least keen to see what he can do without putting shit on him sight unseen..

I assumed Utoikamanu not the prop Stephano but the guy who was out all year was the one to watch put for and was an edge forward.

Good point. Can you reshuffle the deckchairs ? Potentially you might think that #30 needs to work on something and #31 is ready for a bench spot.

I think Stefo’s brother is a edge forward and from reports very promising but has broken his neck.
