Foran actually performed well while he was on the field though. He was poor value because he only lasted nine games (for six wins), not because he didn't play well.

Foran won more games at Parra than Hayne has averaged in his past five seasons for us.

Foran was a woefull signing but we also dodged a bullet as released so only ruined one season and it was a season thst was tuined anyhows.

He's been here for years at 2different clubs. A homesick clause would seem odd. The old personal issues might get trotted out in this one. Anyway, the article is so full of speculation without any real detail that it easily be a total load of crap.

St George Illawarra Dragons’ playmaker Gareth Widdop has shocked club officials after asking for an immediate release from the joint venture.

The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting the English international cited homesickness as the reason for wanting to leave the club despite having three years remaining on his $1 million-a-year contract.

Widdop combined with big-money signing Ben Hunt to lead the Dragons to the finals last season before shoulder injuries forced the star five-eighth to undergo off-season surgery.

The shock announcement could leave the door open for the Dragons to target unwanted Warriors star Shaun Johnson.

Its been widely reported that BA has 10 matches to prove himself. Most 'experts' thought that 26 points would be the minimum points to make the finals but actually 32 points was the cut off point in 2018. So with that in mind BA will have to win 65% of his games or 15-16 games plus the 1 bye. So for the first 10 games 7 wins would be my pass mark.
My question is what would you think will be his pass mark?

At the end of next year he will have been coach here for six years. Only the very good coaches get deals longer than that. Is BA one of those?
