And the fact is a better option would only be available if a better club didn’t want them. Just having heaps of fans or a new stadium isn’t the sort of thing that attracts the top coaches. I’d say a bigger fan base actually puts coaches under more scrutiny. Nobody wants that.

I'm assuming most people (on here) will give him until round 10 before the knives are sharpened in anger regardless of the sequence of a win/loss 5-5 record. Personally, after round 10 and we were 5-5, I'd take that considering our time on the road before the WSS opens and our general appalling away record. After all, our on-fire 2001 team had after 10 rounds 5 wins (3 at home, 2 away), 3 losses (1 at home, 2 away) and 2 draws (1 at home and 1 away). I haven't checked 2009 yet but I feel it's worse.

How we lose them is by not scoring more than the opposition. Flipping 3 tails has the same odds as 3 heads or 2 tails/1 head or 2 heads/1 tail. Of course, the flipper could be just bad at flipping.

It wasn't a spoon squad thats for sure, Kearney copped it deluxe on here but our squad this year was light years ahead of the squad we had in 2011 which avoided the spoon.
