Just like he "thought" Moses was a good buy and why he "thought" Norman was worthy of an extension.
If BA cant achieve team harmony and generate improvement in experienced players I honestly dont have faith in him developing juniors (some of whom have amazing talent) in the NRL. Its another "Hail Mary" play in my opinion.

So he can’t bring in a junior/s who he may think is better then the current regulars ?

Brown / Salmon weren’t options at the time they were signed. .

Exactly, he is a quality back up. I’ll take Will Smith over Luke Kelly anyday. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been annoyed with some of Will Smith’s performances and wouldn’t want him in my best 17. However I think he is probably one of the better back up players out there

And he has the ability the play several positions at a fairly decent “back up” level.

He was a lot better than solid but I agree about the money. Unfortunately we have to offer overs. Of course we also didn’t value him at that much on the cap but the useless merkins couldn’t organize a legit tpa

Unfortunately mate, todays game is an absolute bore fest. Teams are chasing big strong players to bash each other and there’s very little room for the small skilful types.

Do coaches really outwit other teams and coaches with game plans these days? Most games are pretty boring and are largely the same. Its become a very simple game

The team that is better prepared and more committed is the one that usually wins. Not the one with a better game plan. Just my opinion.

Game plans do seem to be the same. I’d say the teams with the better roster tend to win regardless of game plans. Also the teams referees perceive to be better tend to get the better rub of the green.

So we waste yet another season and then bring in another average option. Potter did a fair job at the Tigers but he’s hardly a massive step up.

This is the issue. You can say we are wasting another season with Arthur but there is no guarantee a coaching change will make things any better. At least we know BA has got us into the top 4 once. This is BAs last chance though, if we don’t see a massive improvement for the start of next season we have to give someone else a go. Personally I don’t think potter will do any better than Arthur so I hope there is a better option available

Moses was average but better than Gutho. Whats our plan? Do we even have one?

Our plan is to score under the posts, and score a lot more tries than our opposition to negate our lack of a decent gk

Gee a lot are. I even reckon Cleary along with Seibold are. Imagine they dont get their roster into the finals.Prob wont be sacked but gee fans would be upset.

Maguire,Hasler,Robinson,Bellamy,Flannagan are safe.

As is Pay,Cleary,Bennet,Siebold.

BA and RS are under massive pressure.
Id say if Knights dont make finals so is Brown.

I wouldnt be shocked if Green,Mgregor,SK, Titans guy are sacked if teams under perform.

By round 12 we need to start working out who will we want to re sign for 2020. So lets hope the coach is sorted by mid season.

Yes. He can play them, maybe not very well, or he’s prone to a brain explosion or 6. But you’re right, he can play them positions.

Like every year, many coaches will be scrutinised with their teams performances. BA would be under most pressure IMO, along with green and RS

I would say those most likely to be sack, in order, are

BA, SK, titans guy

Maybe green ... though i think he bought himself alot of time years ago

Ricky seems to have canberrians wrapped around his finger
Flanagan might be a tiny bit at risk if he demands too much coin

All the new coaches will get leeway to prove themselves ... bennett, siebold, cleary, mark mcguire's brother, hasler, pay

brown will get credit and have more time regardless
Robinson has a new shiney trophy to buy him more time
Bellamey will never be sacked

I was begging for BA to promote Nikore for a season and a half before he finally did. He has appeared reluctant to try youth before the end of last season. Something has changed and I'm guessing its pressure as a result of the review. Salmon and Brown have great potential but they are unproven. To risk his future on them isnt the BA way.
I cant believe an NRL coach cant get Moses and Norman on the same page.
Just my opinion Joshy. I am a fanatical supporter of the club. I really hope BA proves me wrong. I guess we will find out soon enough.

Some folks would rather cling to the spam...sites are filtered for a reason. Makes it hard to put any credibility behind anything from those sites.

Although it's more credible than a rando who works with the medical staff or whatever, I suppose
