Rumours and Stuff

Out of all the positions Gunco has played so far he has impressed me most playing in the centres. I hope BA keeps him there. No more swapping around.
I think centre is his best position but someone has to play fullback, and he might be our best option. There was also an article recently about him wanting to play fullback.

Does anyone think he's a better fullback than a centre? There has to be better options than weakening a centre position to patch up the fullback spot, which I think will occur if he goes to the #1 position. Was that article you read on the back of Hindy's dunny door?

I absolutely believe Guthos best position at Parra is as a centre given our meager stocks in this position. Mennings is gash. Sorry but I had to make that observation for the 50th time. That said, in 2016 prior to his ACL injury, I reckon Gutho was "elite" playing fullback.
My preference would be Bev at 1, Gutho 3 and Salmon at 4. Brown to partner Moses in the halfs. (Mennings can stay on the f'n bus for all I care). Id love to see this combination develop over a minimum of 10 weeks baring injuries of cause. Fergo and Rennings in the 2 & 5.

I'd like to see Sivo in there at some time during the year but I can't see that happening for some time, if at all. He's still recovering from an injury so I believe his fitness alone must be questioned before his ability to push for selection.

We live in hope.
Semi was one of a kind though. How lucky were we to have him albeit for such a short time.

BA won't be thinking about blooding too many debutantes or making too many plans for the future. He'll be very conservative and only thinking about 2019. He just wants as many wins on the board as he can in order to save his career. He won't be taking any risks - unfortunately.
