Kikau brings something not any other 2nd rower in comp has. The guy was almost unplayable last season. Panthers dont play finals without him.
What does he bring that Graham doesn’t, or Hess hasn’t in past, or Mau did, or Trex, Fritchard, Tony Pullyoutooa or even Rice Bartcright? He isn’t a once in a lifetime but player you think he is

agree with you on the first bit, but he’s made many defenders look average out there.
Because they’re covering the halves he’s running at. But seriously he’s just the flavour of the week just like Hess and Cartwright were

Lol...Manu
Kikau runs like the wjnd and can offload and break line. Graheme is nothing like Kikau. Hess is strong but not fast.
Puletua and Pritchard in day where a little simmilar without the explosive speed of this guy. Plus they played when a lot more guys on field under 90kgs compared to now days.

One guy had 25 tackle breaks and 87% tackle efficency.Averaged 90mtrs
Others had 83% twckle efficency in a team that defends poor and made over 100 tackle breaks.Averaged 130mtrs is 5yrs younger.
Kikau is 118kgs and runs like the wind. Graheme is 98kgs just what we neeed....

So you’re saying what he brings that no other player does is offloads, line breaks and “speed”? (What f**king speed? He’s hardly Fui over 20 or Crichton over length) In which case, bold call given all the other backrowers in the comp

Edit - or let’s go with him being the best in the world ever. What would make you believe that he isn’t getting paid a shit ton?

Kikau would kill crighton over 100mts lol...Crighton is not Kikau. Kikau is a genetic freak.
Yeah... sure... 2nd point still stands. Being the best backrower ever, why would he resign for well below what other backrowers are signed to?

Phil Gould.....
Guys like Kikau are rare. The only 2nd rower I maybe consider over him is Tariq Sims

Hard task master you are. Yes he has his flaws but brought the pennies back into many games with size, agility and offloads.

If I cpuld chose between the two I would take Kikau over Graheme.
It would depend what your team needs. If they need an 80 minute edge forward with solid defence and leadership they would prefer Graham. If they needed a key edge attacker who they didn't mind missing a lot of tackles they would go with Kikau.

Kikau is a gun... Better than what we have.

I want to know Hindys thoughts on Tyrell going to Panthers?

They lost Merrin,Peachey and, CHN.
Merrins form was rubbish. And CHN was just a player. Peachey will be missed.
Tyrell will be good for them. He plays tough and can cover 2nd row and centre. They need a few tough guys in team to balance it out.
I wouldn't of minded him back at eels. His form for Souths looked good in 2017. No idea what happend in 2018? But the Duke will polish him real good. Unsure if he is type eels needed in our squad.

Being younger isn't a benefit. It means less maturity and experience. It's only beneficial over a long contract because it means the player is more likely to improve over the duration. On a short contract it's no benefit.
