I’ve thought about French. I think fixing his weakness of being manhandled on kick returns is as simple as being super aggressive with them. Rather then looking to minimise how much he gets pushed back, he should just be going top speed at gaps, jinking at the line, linking with wingers, etc and especially being a real bitch when tackled a la Slater
TBH, I just don’t think he has it in him to be more aggressive/tough with his runs. If he did, there’s no reason he wouldn’t have shown it by now.
I don't think so either, but IMO it's what he needs to do to maintain a 1st grade career. Contract year so if he does good for him, good for us but if he doesn't then bad for him, bad for us but only for the remainder of a year where expectations are fairly low
