Go f**k yourself with a Park Rd!

Gee, I’d hate to be Milton right about now...

I think Pous confusing me with other posters who can only analyse in black and white. We were undersized last year by design, planning to outrun teams, that plan didn’t work (clearly) under the circumstances. I reckon the plan is still to outrun opponents, just with a increase in size for a safety net.

But yeah it was a shit roster
Maybe we should of run towards our opponents rather than outrun them, that way we would of scored more tries.

No direct quotes from Jennings himself but this article suggests he thinks Taka will also be starting in the centres.

If true, BA has had another offseason brain fart akin to not playing Edwards at the start of last season.

“Jennings expects he'll start in the centres with Brad Takairangi in round one against Penrith, with the edge player against spending time out wide in the pre-season.

Rookie Jaeman Salmon has also trained there, but will play in the halves in a reserve grade hit-out against South Sydney on Thursday night.”

If this happens BA has completely lost me, and probably his job as well. Another BA masterstroke, or should we say captain's call. Gee they worked well for the pollies didn't they?

With the crackdown on the ruck teams were given carte blanche to stand offside out on the edges. That benefited teams like Souths at the expense of teams like Parra. Anyway we’ve recruited to adapt, probably just in time for a rule change to f**k us again.

We have the mobile guys and the big guys so it won't matter. We have prepared for both

So if the Salmon is served with a suspension for 3ish weeks, and Gutho is at fullback, who's the centres for R1? Mennings and whom?
Yeah that’s the only scenario I can see that should have Taka as a starting centre, unless Parry is able to step up. Probably safer to go with Taka though early on. However, if Salmon doesn’t get a suspension there’s no excuse for picking Taka ahead of him.

Yes, so I'm just pointing out that when Taka is picked in Round 1 and every* merkin is up in arms about how much of a deadshit BA is, please remember that we aren't suddenly flush with riches in the centre position, and Taka is actually an OK option.
