Still in the Broncos system, and in their first grade squad. Had a pretty solid season for Norths Devils last season without being a standout. I'd say he'll get a shot if Milford or Nikorima are injured. Or if Milford swallows a small elephant again during the off season

Dargan had a bad hammy injury in the lead up to last season, put him back badly.

O'Sullivan will also be in the mix for the Donkey's this year.

Cant believe Nikorima isn't the bench utility while they bring in a proper half back with a kicking game. Thought Seibold would do it but it looks like he has stuck with Milford and him as his halves.

Yeah, Seibold probably doesn't want to tread on too many toes early at a club like Brisbane. Give the incumbents first crack to start the year.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's just waiting for a few games of QLD Cup and a shootout between O'Sullivan and Dargan for the 7.

They weren’t all signed by strong clubs and probably weren’t in the top 25 in their first year out of NYC either. Come to think of it, Dargan might’ve been in the Broncos’ development squad last year anyway. But to move interstate would mean no other Sydney club offered him the same thing. It would be odd if only Brisbane thought he was worth a contract.

Mate I'm a shithouse grade cricketer and I blow up less over the winter than some of these blokes do over the summer.

Makes me feel awesome watching a bloke like Jack Bird put on a thousand kilos. Who cares about the very real reasons it might happen, even pros can turn into sloppy-rigged hacks and that makes me smile.

They also have Cory Paix #6 and Tannah Boyd #7 in there full time training squad as well as Deardon. I believe Paix and Boyd are a year older.

I listened to the broadcast last night. It sounded like Evans charges were improved from last season where he slowed and braced for impact. In this regard I was pleased although his pass selection was poor.
French appeared to be a play maker last night. He also had kicking duties, in general play, kicking for touch and goal kicking.
It looks like the coaching staff are working to improve these players from what was served up last season. The result was poor but its certainly pleasing to see areas trying to be addressed and improved.
