That should tell you my opinion of Mitch Rein then...he's the ploddiest plodder to ever plod out onto a plodball field, and he reckons he's worth more than 400k!

He creates plays when the forwards are buggered, de gois doesn't. I don't know de gois salary, I hope it's less than Rein?
Maybe next year, 6 interchanges?? Who knows with fat greenberg!

When we signed watmough at the time i would have thought we could got at least 2 possibly 3 years out of him anyway

Not sure if i am correct but did watmough or the club have an option for the 4th year of the contract

I don't think it was ever reported as such. Just a straight 4 year contract.

SEA Eagles prop Siosaia Vave has revealed that he has received a formal offer from the Parramatta Eels and the powerhouse forward is poised to sign with them for next season.

The front-rower, who has been a revelation coming off the bench for Manly this season, said he had also had a few discussions with Manly coach Trent Barrett over the past couple of weeks.

Vave is yet to receive a formal offer from the Sea Eagles for the 2017 season.

“We’ll see what happens. Hopefully, I’ll get to stay,” Vave said.

“I love what the club is about and I love Manly.

“They have a good calibre of players and you want to build something with blokes like Jake Trbojevic and Addin Fonua-Blake.

“But if it doesn’t work out, that’s football.”

Vave, who will again come off the bench in Jamie Lyon’s big farewell to Brookvale Oval on Satutrday afternoon against the in-form Canberra Raiders, has been pleased with his form for the Sea Eagles this season.

“There are still things I need to work on. Obviously, I want to be a starting player,” he said.

Vave has undergone a huge transformation from the player who was given an ultimatum by Barrett before Christmas that if he did not lose weight he faced being cut by the club.

He changed his diet and embarked on a rigorous training regimen to save his career.

He wasn't all bad here, had the odd good game here and there. Nothing like he is playing at the moment, though. Would've loved having him here if he was playing like this to back up the mongrel.

100%.

I liked him for us, but he's been unreal for Manly.

I think I heard last night that Foxtel are starting their 24/7 NRL channel next month.

There's already way too much league gibber on fox.

Hopefully they don't increase the number of TV shows and just put on a shitload of old games.

Not that I spend any time on the AFL channel, but I believe that's what they do there.

There will be more shows however, hence why Ennis & Parker have bailed early. Benji is hesitant to go to ESL because he will lose momentum with his Foxtel gig I expect.
