Turbo tom is the beat 19yld player ive seen at his age.
Hayne/Inglis where great at 19 but not in the class till later years. On top of that he is busted.
What a special talent. He may be one of the greatest players we will see.

I don't think Trbojevic will ever have the power or ball skills of a Hayne or Inglis. He's yet to reach his best, but I don't think he has the same high ceiling as a Hayne or a GI. He'll get better, but not as much better as they did.

Which is not to say at all that he won't be an outstanding player, because he absolutely will.

Christ I hope we stay away. I've never really rated him, today has reminded me why. He's been absolutely destroyed defensively and offered nothing in attack.

Vave has been good, 100m and 20 tackles from the bench
All I saw him do today is miss a tackle but I haven't been paying attention. But it looks like we're not blowing our money on hookers so maybe we'll get someone better than Williams.

Jeez Vave is a top signing if he has come over. In a beaten side, off the bench, he had 9 runs for 120m and 22 tackles. Of the forwards only Taupau and Papalii made more metres for the match, and they both started.

And are probably both on at least double what Vave will be earning with us

Inglis and hayne didnt have the ball skill at 19 either.
Toms better then both where at his age. If you dont rate your knowledge of league is ordinary.
He is also playjng injured and has a great character. One of my favorite players

In the wet he didnt shine but also wasnt bad.
Will play 20 origins.
Possibly on the wing but I don't think he'll replace Tedesco or Hayne for the fullback jersey anytime soon. He's a good young player but I see him more of a Brett Stewart quality player rather than a genuine superstar like Hayne or Thurston.

Yep. Did you get those stats from nrlstats.com? Because they're usually comservative with their initial metres gained, I wouldn't be surprised to see that number climb in the next few days.

Never said I didn't rate him. Just that Hayne and Inglis had bigger frames at the same age, with a higher ceiling in terms of power and strength. They also had better ball skills.

Turbo will be a top 3 fullback, but he's no Tedesco

The Parramatta Eels have today announced the re-signing of Isaac De Gois for a further two years until the end of the 2018 season.

Isaac joined the Eels midway through 2014 and brings over 223 games worth of NRL experience. Isaac has been a key contributor to the team and will play his 50th game for the Club on Monday night.

Head Coach Brad Arthur said the retention of Isaac would strengthen the Parramatta roster. It also allows Isaac to continue his valuable mentoring role to younger members of the squad, such as Kaysa Pritchard.

“Isaac has been a key leader for our team this season and I am pleased that he will be remaining with our squad until the end of 2018,” Arthur said.

“With the retention of a number of players for 2017 our squad is shaping up well for next season."

Isaac is the fourth re-signing this week for the Eels following on from Corey Norman, Danny Wicks and Kenny Edwards.
Its very exciting, now for Robbo.

Or he could end up playing 1 Origin series, and then be overlooked when the next best wing thing comes along...

Or he could be like Nathan Meritt. Everyone saying he should be playing Origin for years and it's a disgrace that he doesn't get picked. When he is finally picked he is shown to be one of the worst players to ever play.

Or he could be like Mundine and be the best player to ever be overlooked for origin...

...in his own mind.
