Crag Wilson was well respected in the junior talent development area, the current shake up is in line wirh what is seen when a new head honcho is in town. Pare the place back , and then add staff under the direction of a new regime

Seems like BA and the new CEO when appointed will rebuild the club, perhaps that's not a bad thing

3 hookers like this year you mean ?

Edit: include King we had 4
To be fair though, Kaysa was still very much a rookie so I'm sure the idea was to ease him into 1st grade this year with a view to having him a complete player for 2017.

I don't think the long term plan should be to include three hookers in your top 25. Unfortunately, Kaysa isn't an established 9 so I dare say IDG has been signed to continue his current role with Kaysa the understudy.

Still another another Giant Douche or Turd Sandwich choice. Both are shithouse.

Roberts is ok. And a better goal kicker than we have currently. Given what's available he's probably the "best" if he's going to be moved on, and not very expensive either. He'd be worth a go for a season or two until someone better is on the market...more so than Benji or Williams if we're not looking at a young half.

I'd steer clear of Elgey, personally. Don't trust his knees.

Still he's hardly anything to get excited about. Can't see us going deep into next season with him plodding around the park.

I enjoyed that game- Matt Moylan master class. He gave Hayne a footballing lesson today and to me it shows how far off the pace he is. We dodged a bullet here guys.
Gee Cartright was a let down. When you need him to back a solid hitup, he goes and loses the ball.

Never been a fan of Roberts in fact I can't stand him but I'd stomach him on a 1 year deal. As an established nrl half though he would more than likely get a better offer than a year. If he did come I'd have my scapegoat for next year sorted

He's got a solid kicking game, he's not an awful defender, decent passing game, good goalkicker. "Exciting", maybe not, but he'd be a decent partner for Norman who is exciting...

Interestingly enough, he only has two fewer try assists than Ash Taylor this season. And Taylor is flavour of the year

King was outside the top 25. And the reason we had 3 was because we were desperate to sign a 9 when peats got injured so we gave the extra year to IDG. Notice we released our (best) 9 as soon as we got the chance? Arthur does not want three hookers in our top 25. There is no chance IDG is a 'depth' signing

Peats is better then de gois.
But for what he costs not a whole lot.
Still offers little in attack.

No mate he won't be, but we will still hear from the usual suspects that's all he will be. I can't believe how anyone at all is thinks him being here from two more years is a good thing.

Kaysa was also a rookie so I'm sure the plan was to bring him through this year with a view to having him ready to go for 2017. This would negate the need for a third hooker in the top 25.

He may not be depth to start with, but there's no reason BA won't sign a Jayden Hodges or Kierran Mosely (or eve Cameron King) type young hooker with a bit to prove to a second tier deal, with the potential for that third hooker to overtake IDG as the year goes on...There's nothing on the market and IDG does a job (just)....

Good preparation for him as hooker by using him as a battering ram

So why is IDG still playing the majority of the mins at dummy half and when Kaysa does get on it's more a middle forward anymore???

Not having a go just wondering out loud really, these Krakens are going down a treat.
