Rumours and Stuff

Anyone remember these days? Back when you could call black people black without offending white people? The amusing thing is that the blacks were never offended by it. Crazy times we live in now. You'd be labelled a racist ranter these days. Oh well, that's enough from this white merkin.

Tbh, GOT bored the hell out of me.

I tried to like it - I really did -, but once they start killing off all the amazing characters, played by great actors (eg: Sean Bean, Charles Dance), what are you left with?

I think his shows got boring when he became a moraliser. The Office and Extras were hilarious. Everything after that was just a f**king soapbox.
Was never a fan before "Idiot Abroad ". Decided to watch his stand up special on Netflix and laughed myself silly. That led me to After Life. If you havent watched it dont pre judge. Definitely not everyones cup of tea but I recko it was brilliant. A totally unexpected experience.

Should I make a Thread in the PD and title it tv shows, but we use it for rumours?

Until the “Stuff” in the title of this thread is clearly defined, how do we know that what is said in here is out of context?????

We need clear and concise rules FFS!!

After Life is a thoughful and beautifully written series. In the same vien, Nanette by Hanna Glasby is a once in a decade gem.

I love the show (Seinfeld not Fraser) but went and watched Jerry’s stand up act and thought it was a bit meh.

I saw Seinfeld in Vegas. It was a good show, but probably agree on your thoughts of his stand up overall. I think stand up needs to be 'adults only' to be funny most of the time, his stand up show is still fairly for a mainstream audience.
