I’m not too stressed either way to be honest. Talk is Maloney will leave Penrith at seasons end and he would be ideal for Dylan Brown’s development. Sezer also available at less cost as is a guy like Semi Radradra after the World Cup whom I’d make the highest paid player in the game and play him at fullback.

People have been knocking Maloney but from the Penrith games ive seen hes been far better than Cleary and his defence is much improved this year over last. I reckon he is still a very dangerous attacking player and I would choose him ahead of Cleary in SOO this year. Regretably hes at that age where he might prove to be a salary cap burden. They say let them go one year early is better than one year too late.
Yep. The best thing going for Sezer as a halfback is that Ricky Stuart doesn't rate him and is playing Sam Williams ahead of him... But I think even Sticky has Sezers number on this one.... He is rubbish....
They said the same thing about Hayne who won two Dally M's at fullback. Semi can do it.
Semi has no passing game. He would be a waste at No.1.
He never had to have a passing game when he played for us, but i think he has some skill and could do ok ..... i reckon the relentless running etc would be more than he can handle tho
