Rumours and Stuff

He never had to have a passing game when he played for us, but i think he has some skill and could do ok ..... i reckon the relentless running etc would be more than he can handle tho

Sure he could do well at fullback.
But if I'm making him the highest paid player in the game he better be able to do some of the stuff that a fullback needs to do and not just be good at running.

Rumour Mill: An enjoyable one out of News Limited is that Daily Telegraph journalists have been told to fix their horrid image by teaming with popular and positive Rugby League Twitter accounts, so be very wary when you see someone pump up Buzz Rothfield. Curtis Scott was not dropped for any on-field performance and it would surprise if he played for the Storm again if rumours are to be believed. Aiden Sezer is expected to seek a release to move to England. Dylan Edwards is being shopped around with North Queensland his most likely destination.

They said the same thing about Hayne who won two Dally M's at fullback. Semi can do it.
Won two Dally Ms and three wooden spoons.

He won his Dally Ms for his highlight reel. He’s a great footballer but not a great fullback. He’s best as a winger with a roving omission. Fullbacks have responsibilities on nearly every play. Hayne needs to be able to pick and choose when to get involved, and have a bludge without letting the team down.

Can someone tell me why we only have 2 guys in a tackle?

The Storm usually have 3 laying on top of the ball carrier. As well as Smith wrestling with ball holding arm.

Because obviously that's what the coach has instructed them to do. Like I said shit coach.

We had 3 in the tackle plenty of times .... usually 2 were left lying on the ground as the ball was played
Or standing at where the marker should have been if the knights didn’t walk forward 2 metres. I don’t want to harp on about but that was the worst refereeing I can remember seeing. No real clangers but just clear differences in how each team was being managed

Problem with our middle when Jnr and Terepo are together is if have no ball they dont close gaps as well as a Mannah or Alvaro. If we have a lot of possesion while they are on we will dominate and win. If we have them on when other side has all ball we prob cop points against us. Catch 22.
With Brown and Alvaro out maybe Mannah should of started but how was BA to know we wouldn't have much possesion the first 25mins.

Not to the extent that all 3 were laying on the player with the ball. It seems as though we have been told to only have 2 in tackle when going to ground.

if we have more in the tackle that would mean there would be bigger gaps for the opposition to run through

We have issues in wrapping the ball in our tackles, too many times opposition get a ball away, hence leaving us short by plent.
