Rumours and Stuff

It’s not often I’d say this in relation to the club, but they’ve played a blinder here. Introducing DWZ into proceedings has been a master stroke. Glad it’s now reached a point where the dog is again wagging the tail and not the other way around. Gutho doesn’t get a chance to see if BA is re-signed or not either.
I see it as a little bit like this.

Meltdowns inbound.

Good decision IMO. Give the club/players two years of knowing who is in charge. Give BA the chance to build on what he has been trying to achieve amongst turmoil. But if it's true we MUST stick with him for the two years. Same as if it's not true and we sign someone else we MUST stick with his replacement for their tenure.

We need to show stability off the field.

And before the usual few get their panties in a twist, it's a good decision because it's timely. As it would be if they came out next week and said there would be a new coach next year.

He has been here since 6 years.
What are you on about ? Besides Bellamy and Robinson who currently has had more consecutive years at one club?

I've been over this too many times to honestly bother anymore, so here it is in dot points.

If your post is in regards to turmoil;

-He took over the worst roster we have ever had in 2014.
-He built towards the roster he wanted in 2016
-The board cheated, badly, and the club imploded in 2016.
-He has since had to start from near the bottom, with the club falling to pieces around him

If it is in regards to stability;

-We have gone through more coaches than pairs of underwear since Brian Smith
-We have endured nothing but squabbling and mismanagement off the field
-This has gone on since 2006 or so and left us with the stigma of being a basket case
-We need to demonstrate that these times are past us, as I said in more detail HERE, if we are to actually fix the root causes of our continued failure.
