Nice to see someone else gets it.I've been over this too many times to honestly bother anymore, so here it is in dot points.
If your post is in regards to turmoil;
-He took over the worst roster we have ever had in 2014.
-He built towards the roster he wanted in 2016
-The board cheated, badly, and the club imploded in 2016.
-He has since had to start from near the bottom, with the club falling to pieces around him
If it is in regards to stability;
-We have gone through more coaches than pairs of underwear since Brian Smith
-We have endured nothing but squabbling and mismanagement off the field
-This has gone on since 2006 or so and left us with the stigma of being a basket case
-We need to demonstrate that these times are past us, as I said in more detail HERE, if we are to actually fix the root causes of our continued failure.
Understand that there are pros to signing BA but has the board conceded there are slim pickings available to replace him.Nice to see someone else gets it.
Paying all five of those guys will be expensive. And a little overkill if you ask me, we probably would only need the one.Understand that there are pros to signing BA but has the board conceded there are slim pickings available to replace him.
My concerns are that it was clearly stated a decision would be made in June.
Now after getting smashed on the weekend and with the threat of Guth and Moses leaving, (and Guth waiting for BA to be confirmed as coach) have we pandered to the players and their managers?
We also know as passionate eels supporters the ambush was on against raiders, knights and storm yet we saw the same mediocre performances against all 3. Terrible ruck defence, repeat sets on our line, dropped balls, no percentage plays, forced passes, panic footy...in all cases it has appeared to be a lack of game plan and execution
Same story over the last 5 years. When the big games have come around we have gotten stage fright..to me i see this as inherent problem..
I would have gone for a new coach, a new voice and a new direction with the support staff...
Justin Holbrook
Jim Dymock,
Adam O'Brien
Jason Demetriou
If Shane Flanagan becomes available again sign him up...
Ok just to be clear these were names i was tossing up as options...not sign all 5 at the same time.Paying all five of those guys will be expensive. And a little overkill if you ask me, we probably would only need the one.
I’m not against the idea of brining in another assistant for BA, that can help with tactics & stuff, would be very useful.
But for now the club needs stability, change for changes sake is rarely a good idea. We tried that when we shoved Smith out the door and it didn’t go too well for us.
I reckon it's two years because nobody offers a coach only one year.I hope we did it just to appease the players.
AND ARHTUR'S HAS EXACTLY THE TEEM HE WANTED!!!Baz
He has been here since 6 years.
What are you on about ? Besides Bellamy and Robinson who currently has had more consecutive years at one club?
Flippity flip flip flip mcflippy flip flop.Baz

OhhhhhhhhOk just to be clear these were names i was tossing up as options...not sign all 5 at the same time.
Apart from Flanagan who is established all these guys have completed good apprenticeships under some very astute and premiership winning coaches.
I just don't see BA's coaching as having evolved..
The players deserve to get what they want after the stellar performance they put in on Saturday night.I hope we did it just to appease the players.
I think it’s likely been expedited as we are in negotiations with some players outside of the club (rumoured to include DWZ) and they are not going to seriously consider our club without knowing who the coach is. We’ve had Lane & Fergo continually state it was BA that attracted them to the club, so clearly his peers and the players in the game have a high opinion of his coaching and the person he is.
And Mr A will never speak unless he has something to say.Flippity flip flip flip mcflippy flip flop.
The 64-10 loss must have really clinched it for the board.
If I could play Pou Pou’s advocate, perhaps that is what we need to adjust what is Parramatta. The style of footy he coaches is dire, one dimensional, grubby and not Parramatta
Or if he's upset at BA.And Mr A will never speak unless he has something to say
All this is true.I've been over this too many times to honestly bother anymore, so here it is in dot points.
